She is a star, I'm very proud and very grateful."
And it seems that the guestlist for the nightspot is now so exclusive that even if you're the winner of The X Factor, you won't be able to get in.
Last night, Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson was left red-faced when she rolled up to the Brentwood bar only to find she wasn't on the guestlist.
Steve is also hopeful he will return for a second series of the show in 2012, which he expects will be 'more refined'.
He added: 'I can't even expect to see myself on the show just yet. I haven't had that conversation,' he said. 'Hopefully I'm involved in the second season! I've had a whale of a time doing the first season.
